Job description

This position involves implementing, maintaining, and troubleshooting various IT systems to ensure seamless operations. The Technology Specialist will collaborate with different departments to enhance technological capabilities and contribute to the overall efficiency of the organization.

Job responsibilities

IT Infrastructure Management:

Deploy, configure, and maintain hardware and software systems.
Monitor and ensure the reliability and security of servers, networks, and databases.

User Support:

Provide technical support to end-users, addressing hardware and software-related issues.
Conduct training sessions to enhance technology literacy among staff.

Software Implementation:

Collaborate with teams to understand software needs and implement appropriate solutions.
Ensure the integration of new software with existing systems.

Security Management:

Implement and maintain cybersecurity measures to safeguard company data.
Conduct regular security audits and recommend improvements.

Qualifications

Educational Background:

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

Experience:

Proven experience as a Technology Specialist or in a similar role.
Familiarity with a variety of hardware, software, and operating systems.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in network administration, troubleshooting, and security protocols.
Experience with cloud services and virtualization.

Communication Skills:

Strong communication skills to convey technical information to non-technical users.
Ability to collaborate effectively with different departments.
